When ingested, the body converts psilocybin into psilocin, the active form responsible for the psychedelic effects. Psilocin primarily interacts with serotonin receptors in the brain, specifically targeting the 5-HT2A receptor. The 5-HT2A receptor is a key player in the brain's serotonin system, which regulates mood, cognition, and perception. Psilocin's interaction with this receptor leads to altered serotonin signaling, resulting in changes in mood, perception, and thought processes. This alteration is believed to contribute to the therapeutic effects of psilocybin in mental health treatment.
Research suggests that psilocybin may enhance neuroplasticity—the brain's ability to reorganize and form new connections. This is particularly relevant in mental health treatment, where conditions like depression and anxiety are associated with disruptions in neural connectivity. Psilocybin's influence on neuroplasticity may contribute to the restructuring of thought patterns and behaviors associated with mental health disorders.
The default mode network (DMN) is a network of brain regions associated with self-referential thoughts and mind-wandering. In conditions like depression, the DMN can become hyperactive, leading to excessive rumination. Psilocybin has been shown to modulate the activity of the DMN, potentially reducing the dominance of self-referential thoughts and promoting a more flexible and adaptive mindset.

Several studies have explored psilocybin's efficacy in treating depression and anxiety. Research suggests that a single or a few sessions of psilocybin-assisted therapy may lead to significant and enduring reductions in symptoms. The psychedelic experience itself, combined with therapeutic support, allows individuals to explore and process deep-seated emotions and gain new perspectives on their lives.
Psilocybin has also shown promise in treating substance use disorders, including addiction to substances like nicotine, alcohol, and opioids. The psychedelic experience facilitated by psilocybin may help individuals break free from patterns of addictive behavior by promoting self-reflection and providing a renewed sense of purpose.

We definitely have ways to get psilocybin to you. If you are in a state or locale where psilocybin is decriminalized (ex. Oregon, Washington D.C), there is a strong possibility we can accommodate you through our network.
If you are not in a location where psilocybin is decriminalized, you must schedule an in-person harm reduction consultation in Colorado. After the initial consultation, we are more than willing to share an ounce to a pound or more with you. Please email transcendrx@gmail.com to schedule an in-person consultation and get pricing, or to connect with growers in your area.

We at Transcend would LOVE to ship psilocybin gifts to you on a retail basis. However, current Colorado law prohibits us from doing so. Technically, we may only sell bona fide harm reduction and share psilocybin supplements as a gift. We understand other sites do so, and we commend their bravery, as we believe everyone should have access to these products. That said, those sites are running the risk of being shut down because they are illegal.
We want to ensure the longevity of our ability to share psilocybin with our clients. Therefore, we will not sell psilocybin products online until we are able to do so.
That said, if you are a facilitator or are an out-of-state client who needs medicine to treat verifiable mental or physical conditions, please text our team directly at 720-791-5519 so we can determine the best way to serve you.
Thank you for your understanding as we navigate these complex laws.
